There is within me a very conscientious concern for the welfare and well being of children in our society, in our world. Invariably, I find myself writing about children, teenagers especially, who feel lost or are lost for whatever the reason.

As an educator I am repeatedly reminded of the hardships so many of our young teens face. Oftentimes, adults discredit concerns, worries or fears as trivial never taking the time to understand what is at the root of their distress. There are many possibilities such as abuse, peer pressure, parental pressure, economics, societal and cultural pressures.

I hope my stories address these issues and incorporate some solutions that may encourage both young and old to persevere and to envision a better tomorrow.
